Dancing!

Most of you know about my past and how much I've always enjoyed dancing my whole life. For those of you that don't I was on dance teams and danced from grade 1 (age 6) until my junior year of high school (grade 11/age 17). The only reason I stopped was because I became very, very ill and my instructor told me that I had to pick between going home (from school) or staying on the team. I chose to go home because I literally got dizzy and fell down a flight of stairs. So, for my safety I chose that. I really, really missed participating in the group dance and the competitions! We got to travel to different states and cities for national titles and everything, but my health was more and is more important.

It's still the best way in my opinion to burn those calories! There are so many different types of dance you can participate in so it's one of those things you can change up daily if you wanted too. My favorite types are high energy (a lot of kicks, etc) and line dancing. I think the line dancing is more of the country in me than anything! haha.
