Lose It!
I've recently joined Lose It!, (within the last week) which is a site similar to MyFitnessPal. For those of you that don't know what Lose It! is, it is a website that helps you track you calorie intake (both food and exercise), weight (as well as BMI), food (your favorites, nutrients), exercise (favorite exercises). There are also forums, challenges you can take part it, set goals for yourself and view reports by the day and week. If you are a premium user ($40/year) you can also sync Lose It! with many other applications and devices, including the popular FitBit series of trackers and scale, RunKeeper, MapMyFitness, and the Withings scales and blood pressure monitor. For the premium price you also get additional trackers including steps, exercise minutes, sleep, body measurements, blood pressure and blood glucose. Now, you do not have to be a premium member, you can use the Android application (as well as the iPhone application) for free.
I am loving this application (more than MFP). I think the design is sleeker and that it is easier to navigate (personally). I also find the community nicer, in some aspects, depending on the part of the community you are in. It is always good to have motivation while you try to lose weight, be it online or off-line. I give the whole Lose It! experience so far a 4.8/5. Yes, I know it's an odd number but it's missing the .2 because you have to upgrade to sync most devices when you can do that for free with others. With that being said, I think the upgrade IS worth it, if you have the extra money and that it is a GREAT deal since it's for the whole year.

Favorite Food: Breakfast - Special K
My favorite food to eat for breakfast are Special K cereals. They are delicious and come in different flavors, 11 to be exact.
The flavors are:
- Original
- Red Berries (Strawberry)
- Oats & Honey
- Chocolaty Delight
- Vanilla Almond
- Fruit and Yogurt
- Cinnamon Pecan
- Low-Fat Granola
- Blueberry
- Chocolaty Strawberry
- Protein (it's just original with added protein)
Red Berries and Chocolaty Delight, so obviously Chocolaty Strawberry is perfect as it is both flavors mixed together. I also enjoy the Original, Low-Fat Granola and Oats & Honey flavors. One of the reasons I love Special K is so much is because they use the real items in their foods. Strawberries, blueberries, chocolate pieces, etc. They are made with dried strawberries/blueberries, etc.. the same things astronauts eat in space. Plus, they are amazing lol. The only negative I have about them is that there aren't enough.
Example, the strawberries look like this:
Special K also has a variety of other foods and drinks. They have breakfast bars, which I also really enjoy. Their drinks are also good.

Favorite Application: Accupedo
Accupedo is an application that allows you to keep track of your steps throughout the day. It is not a free application - although there is a free version. I have tried both the free and the paid version and I like the paid version better. It seems to respond better than the free one and it allows you full control over the amount of steps. The free version used to limit the amount it counted per day, which to me, made the application useless since it didn't do what I needed it to do. The pro version cost $3.99USD
I'm not sure if it is available for iOS or not, since I have an Android. Be sure to check out the iOS store to see. Go to the Google Play store to purchase the paid version or pick up the free version by clicking here.
